It is with this in mind that Jamii Outreach Ministries Kenya is sensitizing local Corporations, NGO’s, Churches, Friends and Development Partners to help cater for these needy Children who continue to dream of a bright future trusting that this will become a reality some day. The long-term goal is to construct an Orphanage for re-location of the Children to a more conducive environment as well as construct a School and a Medical Clinic. These facilities will benefit the local Community as well.

The Centre caters for kids (ages 3 – 11 years) all from very vulnerable backgrounds, majority living with their Grand mother or Father after loosing their parents through HIV/AIDS. A few live with a single Parent or Guardian while some are total orphans and under the care of foster Families. A Team of Caregivers work at the Centre, whose chores include Teaching, Cooking, Cleaning, Maintenance, Guiding and Counseling.

We also have mentorship for Teenage Girls & Boys, Monthly Talks, Sporting Activities & Retreats.

The immediate needs at the Center include: School Learning Materials, Floor, Kitchen & Toilet renovations, Food stuffs for the daily feeding program and Monthly sustenance for the Caregivers among numerous needs. The grown up children of ages 13 -16 form the Jamii Soccer Team for Boys and Girls. Occasionally Community services are carried out i.e Motivational Talks, Counseling on HIV/AIDS, Clean-ups and Home Visits.
